Spanish Speaking Countries Project
Preliminary research, development, creations and presentation of information
*Computer lab research/Cornell Notes
Realidades:Mapas pp. xxxviii-xliii read and discuss/write in binder info about Spanish-speaking countries (ex; population, religion, geography, etc) & pg. 6 nationalities
Students will choose one country to report on to the class (22 to choose from, so one country per student on average/class.) Students will create a presentation, either Power point or poster and will present to the class describing the country and all of its qualities and characteristics.
Your assignment is to research a Spanish speaking country. Once the information below is obtained you will create a Google Slides presentation of no more than 5 slides and share the information gathered with your classmates (¡en español!)
grading rubric as follows:
Each presentation must include the following:
• Name of country
• Location and map of country
• The flag of ...
• Three (3) popular tourist attractions
• The capital is...
• The currency is...
• Two Popular Sports in this country are...
• Information about the people ex. Race, ethnicity, indigenous, languages, jobs, religions etc.
• Main exports and imports/ecomomics.
***You must include images/graphics, videos, music on each slide and an appropriate description of each category!!***
Day 1-2: Search to find the above information
Day 3-4: Create PowerPoint Presentation
Day 5: Finish PowerPoint presentation and practice speaking
Day TBA: Present to class
